So It's moving day!!! Or...tomorrow might be, but today is when everything gets officially packed up. I've had some kind of funky "Fever Virus" (no, it's not swine flu) this whole week, and am noticing a pattern of getting tired around 6, and a complete zombie by 8 every night. It's a little bit of a downer for parties, but great for recovering and getting an early start to packing each day!
This week was also the week my Dad stopped in for a surprise visit. It was a great visit, and I definitely appreciated all the help doing repairs on the apartment (SO nice to have a carpenter for a dad!). He came with me to my farewell dinner as well, and said he was so impressed with the friendship and comradery he saw there. I told him it would be a group full of women, so he was expecting to see cattiness, pettiness, and competition--he was completely blown away at seeing a bunch of young, successful women come together and truly enjoy each other's company. Sweet! :)
Mandy, Jessica, & Me. Jess was a mission companion and one of my original connections getting out here 3 years ago. SO good to see her and catch up!
Stephanie & Lynn--will miss them both terribly!! Steph is my co-worker and we traveled to DC this past year with the kids. Lynn & I have been roomies for 2 1/2 years!
Melissa, Courtney, Darien (all RS counselors) and Jessica...who isn't a counselor, but literally holds just about every other calling a girl could possibly hold :) Love these girls!I could not ask for finer friends to have made down here in Phoenix over the past three years. There are many, many more and I truly feel blessed for knowing all of them. I have learned so much down here my 3+ years in Phoenix, and it will always be a place near and dear to my heart. Farewell Phoenix!!!!!
